WOOF - NO Dogs!
In order to secure the fields we use, the league has agreed to not allow any dogs at any practice or game. "No dogs allowed" is a condition required by the school district for field use at each venue.  A game or practice will not begin or resume until dogs are not present. Thank you for understanding.

About Us

San Lorenzo Valley Girls Softball (SLVGS)

We are an Amateur Softball Association (ASA) Junior Olympic sanctioned girls' fastpitch softball organization committed to the development of San Lorenzo Valley young women. Through our softball programs, our players learn about teamwork, sharing, self-esteem and other skills useful to them as adults. We believe that investing in our youth helps mold community leaders and citizens of the future.

Background
Founded in 1992, the organization has grown steadily with about 20 teams in four different divisions expected this year. Today the league operates as an all-volunteer non-profit organization. Board members, coaches and others volunteer their time to continuously improve the quality of our softball organizations.

Mission
Our mission is simple - "Improve the quality of girls fastpitch softball in the San Lorenzo Valley." Our softball programs are directed at players of all abilities and we will:
1. Promote Teamwork
2. Improve Coaching and Player Skills
3. Increase Coaching and Player Knowledge of the Gilrs Fastpitch Game
4. Elevate our Players self-esteem
5. Prepare our Players for Summer and High School Competition
